PROLITE Magnum Graphite Stealth Pickleball Paddle Review
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterPin This

The PROLITE Magnum Stealth Graphite Pickleball Paddle is an iconic paddle that many long-standing pickleball players rely upon. Having been around for a number of years, the Magnum Stealth continues to be the paddle of choice for so many players, thanks to its ability to combine many leading paddle attributes. Firstly, it’s a super lightweight paddle that weighs between 6.5 – 6.8 ounces, this makes it 1 ounce lighter than the majority of competitor, lightweight paddles. Likewise, the reactive graphite paddle face, Nomex core, and brilliant paddle proportions make it a great paddle for beginners and intermediate players who favor a fast game. The lightweight nature of the Magnum Stealth makes the paddle easy to move with, while the graphite paddle face makes fast returns effortless. In addition, the PROLITE paddle face features an extra gritty polycarbonate paddle surface that gives you the ability to control the pickleball with spin, while also providing extra hold on the ball when you’re dinking and playing short.

If you are looking for a brilliant beginner or intermediate level paddle that will get your game to the next level fast, then pick the PROLITE Magnum Stealth Graphite Pickleball Paddle. The Magnum Stealth is brilliantly proportioned and super fast on-court.

Paddle Face & Edge Guard

The PROLITE Magnum Graphite Stealth Pickleball Paddle features graphite facing with an extra gritty textured polycarbonate paddle surface. Like other graphite pickleball paddles, the Magnum Stealth has excellent paddle ‘pop’ and is designed to fire balls back over the net quickly, so you hit more winners. Similarly, the gritty texture on the surface of the paddle provides more emphasis on the pickleball when you are looking to add spin or swerve. The edge of the pickleball paddle is protected by PROLITE’s Low Profile Tapered Edge Guard which helps to keep the Magnum Stealth protected against miss-hits on hard court surfaces. If you are looking for a beginner paddle that features a graphite face and nomex core, it’s a tough decision between the Onix Z5 and the Magnum Stealth. For the lighter paddle, opt for the Magnum Stealth paddle.

Paddle Core

The PROLITE Magnum Graphite Stealth Pickleball Paddle core is made from Nomex Honeycomb giving you a super reactive paddle when striking the pickleball. When swinging the paddle fast, the ball fires off the paddle face with significant ‘pop’. Likewise, when you’re blocking or chopping the pickleball the Nomex core gives you a super-responsive feel in the paddle. Many players who are new to the game favor a graphite paddle face and Nomex Honeycomb core. Composite pickleball paddles tend to be heavier than graphite paddles, and they do not give you the same level of paddle ‘pop’ when striking the pickleball – if this is what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to invest in the PROLITE Magnum Graphite Stealth Pickleball Paddle.

Dimensions & Weight

The paddle dimensions on the PROLITE Magnum Graphite Stealth Pickleball Paddle really help to set the paddle apart. The Magnum Stealth measures 15 1/2″ long and has a 7 7/8″ wide paddle face. This gives you plenty of space on the paddle face to hit winning shots and also makes space for PROLITE’s oversized sweet-spot which gives you the responsive feel in the paddle. The Magnum Stealth weighs between 6.5 – 6.8 ounces, making it a super lightweight paddle. As such, if you are looking for a light paddle that is fast, easy to move with, and gives you the ability to react quickly on-court, then the Magnum Stealth is up there with the best.

Handle & Grip

The PROLITE Magnum Graphite Stealth Pickleball Paddle features a 5 1/4″ long handle which is perfect for tennis converts and two-handed hitters. The extra paddle length also provides superior reach out on-court. Likewise, the grip circumference is 4 1/8″ making it a thinner grip for a comfortable hold. The paddle handle is wrapped in PROLITE’s Comfort Contour Grip that gives you superior hold and grip when using the Magnum Stealth paddle. There is a perforated surface to the grip which helps to draw moisture away from the palm, while the contoured nature of the grip ensures that the handle sits in your palm comfortably.

PROLITE Magnum Graphite Stealth Pickleball Paddle Review Summary

The PROLITE Magnum Graphite Stealth Pickleball Paddle is an excellent pickleball paddle for beginners through to intermediate players. The super responsive graphite paddle face provides plenty of paddle ‘pop’, while the Nomex core gives you exceptional touch and feel on-court. On top of this, the Magnum Stealth is extremely lightweight making it very fast and easy to move with. Weighing between 6.5 – 6.8 ounces, the Magnum Stealth is, without doubt, one of the best pickleball paddles in its weight class. Available in a host of great colorways, including red hot and blue slat, the paddle looks incredible on-court. In our opinion though, the Spectrum design shown below sets the Magnum Stealth apart as one of the best looking paddles in the game.
